Tentesol

Tentesol is a reflective solar control glass.

Advantages

• Limits the entry of solar heat into the building, controls excessive brightness, and provides a comfortable work and living environment.
• Reduces cooling energy consumption in air-conditioned spaces, saving on cooling costs.
• Creates a mirror effect when viewed from the brighter side. For example, it provides one-way vision from interior to exterior during daytime, and vice versa at night.
• In curtain-wall buildings, its reflective property hides structural elements like columns, beams, parapet walls, false ceilings, and service shafts, ensuring visual unity.
• When the coated surface is installed inward (surface 2), it highlights color; when installed outward (surface 1), reflection becomes more prominent.
• Its hard coating allows for long-term, damage-free storage in stock.
• Can be toughened, heat-soaked, bent, enamel-printed, or laminated.

Note:

All solar control glasses carry the risk of thermal breakage. Therefore, using Tentesol glass in tempered or heat-soaked form is recommended. When laminating, all layers must be tempered or heat-soaked to prevent thermal breakage.
