Bullet‑Resistant Glass

Security glass, bullet‑resistant glass, or anti‑attack units, as they are also known—used in places where personal and property safety is critical, such as banks, police stations, museums, military facilities, other official institutions, psychiatric wards, jewelers, etc.—are manufactured, tested, and calibrated according to their intended use. These products are aimed at preventing crime and facilitating the apprehension of criminals after the act.

Anti‑attack glass units are laminated assemblies with polyvinyl butyral (PVB) or polycarbonate interlayers. When needed, the glass panes can also be tempered. The overall resistance of bullet‑resistant glass is determined by evaluating the glass together with its supporting frame.
